John Sackman

I am searching for my great grandfather, John Sackman. He was born between 1840 and 1842 in Gebersheim, Baden, Germany, when he died is unknown. He was married to Betha Brauer in McLean county, Illinois on 27 Oct 1864. On the 1900 Santa Ana, Orange, California census, Bertha is listed as married, head of the household. On the 1910 Santa Ana, Orange, California census, Bertha is listed as widow, head of the household. Somewhere in that time span John died and no one in the family seemed to know where or when.
